Romans 4:25 [AKJV]: “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
“Delivered”; given up by Israel and the world [Rome] carried out the sentence, Matthew 27. “Offences” Man’s sins, Romans 3 & 6. “raised again”; to be raised must have been put down, crucified. “our justification” by propitiation, Romans 3.
“Sanctification”; Paul as our Apostle, Romans 15:16. see 1 Corinthians 1:2, “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11. Also see 2 Timothy 2:21.
“Glorified”; “When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” 2 Thessalonians 1:10. “When he shall come” 1 Corinthians 15. “believe” believe what? The gospel: “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
But from God’s perspective I have already also been glorified [Ephesians 1:3] but in the meantime I tarry, [Titus 2:13].
So from that I see that I am justified, sanctified and glorified. For this we hope in interest expectation [Hebrews 11:1 and 11:6]; but will one believe?
