What saith the Scripture

Romans 8:18  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   " For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time  are  not worthy  to be compared  with the glory which shall be revealed in us." For   the life of me do I understand why believers in the body of Christ suffer such pain and cost by Doctors [all kinds and occupations] to stay alive.   My mother held to physical life to the point to where she was forced to live in pain and agony or go be with Christ.   Some of the trials man will go through to put off the inevitable is to me insanity.   Unless Christ returns before one leaves the mortal body, one will die.   If one believes scripture why will one hold to this fleeting life?   One will hold to this corruptible putting off physical death that will come.   "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."   1 Corinthians 15:50.
