"It is written"

Matthew 4:4 (KJV):   “But he (Jesus) answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God .”   with:   Luke 4:4 (KJV): “And Jesus answered him ( satan ), saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God .”   Old Testament reference:   Deuteronomy 8:3 (KJV):   “And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every  word  that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.”         Read more in attachment: Just for myself, i intend not to make accusations of a nother, this is directed too myself as affirmed in the “Scripture disclaimer” in the third attachment.   When blue is used in a scripture passage it is my understanding and hopefully an edification to you. Mercy, Grace or both???

August 25th,2017 Hebrews 4:16   (KJV):   “ Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” The two words that has drawn my interest are “mercy” and “grace”.   My questions were, are they the same and if not what is the difference to the dead and those who are alive in Christ. Bible facts:   Mercy 208 x’s OT:   54 x’s NT     262 total     Grace 37 x’s OT:   122 x’s NT     159 total Grace is used by Paul 84 x’s of the 122 x’s used.   Although a few are used in the greetings.   John did use grace three times: John 1:14, 16 &17.   This is how i understand this passage as applies to me (Ro 15:4).   If any have input to help my understanding or to correct me, i’m open to learning. When Adam sinned in his disobedience of partaking of the tree God could have destroyed Adam, Eve and all off spring of theirs immediately.   But God demonstrated mercy and allowed Adam an additional 930
August 18th, 2017 1 Corinthians 2:2 (KJV):   “ For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” So, Paul being the apostle to the Gentiles and we being Gentiles, why are our fellowships so far away from what Paul taught? “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching  was  not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”   1 Corinthians 2:1-5.   Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles always was aware of who he was and what his mission was (Acts 9:15).   “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest t

Too be born again; HOW???

August 11th, 2017 Acts 17:16-34:   Key verses are 30-31 (KJV):   “And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men every where to repent:   Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof   he hath given assurance unto all men , in that he hath raised him from the dead. What must be believed to be saved, born again, regenerated or what ever verbiage one wants to incorporate. Reminder:   Words in Blue are mine , not scripture, in poorly attempting to make it a little clearer; forgive me. Verse 30:   “commandeth all men every where to repent”.   Repent of what?   What God has said and presented to mankind; what God has said that pertains to this verse that needs to be considered and repented of.   No where before did God promote His appointed to be this brief, to the point and precise as Paul, not even the L ORD Jesus Christ.   Paul by the Holy Spirit was inspired to

But Jesus left us ! ! !

August 4th, 2017 John 16:7-12: (KJV):   "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” In this passage; “and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me;”   bears well with my spirit. What is one too believe of Jesus?   Most of the world (humanity) are not in the least bit interested who, what, where Jesus is or was.   When one has some inclination of Jesus, they most often, more often than not are in error of their beliefs.   i believe this because of mans depravity of spiritual things.   Just recently
