The "Church or Fellowship ???

Matthew 16:18   “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my  church ; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Acts 7:38 (KJV):   “This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and  with  our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:” Romans 16:27   “To God only wise,  be  glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. Written to the Romans from Corinthus,  and sent  by Phebe servant of the  church  at Cenchrea.” Colossians 1:18   “And he is the head of the body, the  church : who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all  things  he might have the preeminence. 1 Thessalonians 1:1   “Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the  church  of the Thessalonians  which is  in God the Father and  in  the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace  be  unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Definition of “church”

Do we hear when God speaks?

Ephesians 4:11-16   KJV:   “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: that we  henceforth  be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men,  and  cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head,  even Christ: from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Do we hear what God is saying to us in these verses?   Continued in

Believe and Live

Romans 3:3 (KJV):   “ For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?”   “ It is  a faithful saying: For if we be dead with  him,  we shall also live with  him:  if we suffer, we shall also reign with  him:  if we deny  him,  he also will deny us:   if we believe not,  yet  he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”   2 Timothy 2:11-13 I sincerely believe all that God has ever wanted from man is just too be believed.   (continued in attachment) “and gave also to her (Eve; although not yet named, till verse 20,) gave also to her husband with her; and he (Adam) did eat:”   Genesis 3:6e   Adam quite believing God and ate.   The why’s and wherefore’s of that decision is beyond words to this day.   Nevertheless   “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”   Romans 15:4. Speaking of Moses and his unbelief:   “ Get thee u

Personals of author:

I try to only give what I believe God has given me.  I don't force it or do what I think is best.  When I do:  "whatsayeththescriptures".  I write about personal experiences.  This week I was given nothing.  When I email out these writings there are two attachments attached, included here. An invitation to Christ If you haven't yet, I invite you to believe in the Lord Jesus as Christ, your personal Savior.   If you have never believed and made that commitment to Christ, I ask you to believe the gospel and be born again.   The Gospel is simple: its who Jesus is and what Christ did in His death, burial & Resurrection; Christ died for all our sins: 2 Cor 5:21.   He was buried John 19:38/42 & arose again for our justification Ro 4:25 & 1 Cor 15 the resurrection chapter.          Its not what you know or when, where and how you say what you say but the condition of the heart in belief. Tell Him.   "Lord Jesus, I believe; help me"
