Believe God

Galatians 2:16  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV): “ K nowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Why is it so hard for man just to believe God?   Most don’t even believe that He is.   “But without faith  it is  impossible to please  him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and  that  he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6.   All God has ever wanted from man was just to be believed.   But as with Adam and Eve in the garden; “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”   2 Corinthians 4:4.   Why the inclination of man toward sin; “And this is the condemnation, th

Importance of Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:17  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   “ And if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.” I am amazed at how ignorant most are of their salvation.   I will ask “Why, do you think you’ll go to heaven?” or   What happens when you die?”   ninety nine out of a hundred will answer with “Jesus died for my sins.”   True; “Jesus died for the sins of the world, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   John1:29b.   That is most true but also is “and if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.”   Jesus had to die for the purpose of removing sin, “to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”   2 Corinthians 5:19.   But this reconciliation can only come when one believes the gospel as presented by Paul when writing:   “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the

How to worship God

John 4:23-24  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):     “ But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.    God  is  a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship  him  in spirit and in truth.” In this dispensation of the grace of God [Ephesians 3:1-3], how does one worship God in spirit and also in truth?   First “spirit”;   “But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father  is  in me, and I in him.” John 10:38.   Also in that same vain; “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19.   Those two verses show that Jesus was in God and God in Jesus. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.   The same was at the beginning with God.   Al

My Job to tell

1 Corinthians 15:22 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   “   For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” The problem with mankind is that we are dead apart from Christ.   Jesus told us by John; “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have  it  more abundantly.”   John 10:10.   When Adam sinned:   “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:17.   Man, Adam didn’t die physically but spiritually, immediately when he, Adam ate of the tree he was commanded not to eat thereof.   We see also that death effected all mankind from there on who were born of Adam {Genesis 5:3].   Jesus was born both physically and Spiritually alive.   His Father was not from the line of Adam but was born of God.”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the W
