Paul's salvation, How?

Acts 4:12 (KJV):   “ Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Continued in attachments; also at whatsaiththescruiptures.blogspot.com Was Saul (later Paul; Acts 13:9) saved as a Israelite when under the law as given by Moses?   “Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:    circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel,  of  the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;    concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.    But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.”   Philippians 3:4-7.   Saul in the flesh was at the apex of the Jewish religion, but when on the road to Damascus he confessed by asking “Who art thou, Lord?”   and repented   saying “Lord, what wilt thou have me

The then, now and future

Ephesians 3:1-5 (KJV):  "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:  How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of menas it is now revealed unto the holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;"

Praying; For real

Romans 8:26 (KJV):   “ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” How many in the “body” allows this to happen in their lives, in Christ? Scripture says that I’m infirmed.   I still haven’t had my mind fully renewed; “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,  which is  your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what  is  that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”   Romans 12:1-2.   Not having a renewed mind I can’t pray as I should, thats what that says right? We pick and chose what we like and don’t like.   We use “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to  hi

What's that? "faith to faith"

Romans 1:16-17  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)   “ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”   “faith to faith”   what’s that all about???   “faith to faith”;   here I read of faith, twice in the same verse and adjacent to each other; saying there are two different persons with faith.   Who’s faith is mentioned first and whom is the second mentioned of faith?   I know in and of myself I haven’t any faith, spiritual faith that is (rightly dividing).   That faith, spiritual faith   is given by God to man:   “according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”   Romans 12:3b.   What would have mans end been if God had decided to remain obscure, aloof and hidden?   Would we have been able to discover Him by our own mean

How wretched? Very wretched

Romans 6:14 (KJV)   “ For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”   with   “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”   Romans 7:24-25 It doesn’t say “ who shall deliver me from the body of this sin and death” just death, sin was dealt with completely at the cross, don’t become the cross’s enemy!   (Philippines 3:12-21)   I was, am and ever will be delivered from sin in You; the L ORD Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:7 ; Colossians 1:14) it’s a promise as sure as You are to me, “sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”   I have to learn how to allow God to have control of my alive spirit (once saved, born again, being in Christ) to work with my dead flesh filled with sin (Romans 7).   Sin is defeated only by my conscious allowing, a decided freewill choice to beli
