How do you know?

John 1:29 [AKJV]:   “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   Is that true?   Has that happened?   When did it happen?   How do you know it happened? If one can’t answer those basic questions how can one be assured that it has happened?   When satan was tempting Jesus in the desert he asked;   “If those the Son of God, command these stones be made bread.”   “If thou be the Son of God cast thyself down: for as it written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee upset at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”   The third temptation:   “All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”   Matthew 3:3, 6, and verse 9 [AKJV]. Jesus’s answer should be, again should be our answer:   It’s all in His Word but most won’t even take the time to read. Why could John make such a statement?   John knew by the Holy Spirit, he h

They got it wrong!

Romans 6:14   [King James Version]:   “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” There is a solution to sin in man.   That solution is to believe God and what God has said of man; man’s problem. Man has always for the most part tried to discover a cure for the problem.   Until man believes the Creator in all things [Colossians 1:12-20] the problem will continue.   Man [as a whole] doesn’t even understand what the problem is let alone the cure.   Man will try every conceivable notion, but in all that doing continues to reject God [John 3:18-21].   Until man admits he cannot save himself, admits that he is a sinner, that God is and is the only solution man will continue in death, despair and no hope in the future.   Path way to Salvation [Passages from the Authorized King James Version; AKJV] Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is ,

God's life matters

GOD’S Life Matters Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man  of  the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of  life ; and man became a living soul. In 2 Timothy 2:15c we are instructed to rightly divide the word of truth.   To divide so as to know what we are speaking of when teaching the unlearned and to know why we are approved of God.   That we have been taught by the Holy Spirit through His inspired Word.   Not just any word but the true Word passed on as God commanded the prophets and His apostle Paul [to deliver it: Col 1:25; :to fulfill Strong’s # 4137, to fulfill the word of God]. In scripture life is spoken of in two ways, one of a physical nature and one of spiritual.   We as believers of the LORD Jesus Christ must be taught by the Holy Spirit in truth.   We do not know truth [Jo 17:17] apart from the Holy Spirit who is the believers teacher in spiritual things [1 Cor 2:14].   Until man believes that God is and agrees with God, w

What's is your Bible translation, why?

Mark 1:1-2  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)       1  The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;  as it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Take your copy, yes copy of the scripture and read those verses.   Most, not all but most read “Even as it is written in Isaiah the prophet”; American Standard, Amplified, English Standard, International Standard as well as most others.   Can you find in Isaiah where it reads of a messenger being sent before Messiah comes?   Are there mistakes in God’s Word?   If there is one then is it God’s Word?   Why would one want to read and adhere to a book that has errors, even one error, scripture, or not?   Back to the question;   where is it written that a messenger was to be sent?   “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messen
