Whose faithful?

"God is faithful,"  1 Cor 1:9;  "But the Lord is faithful,"  2 Thess 3:3;  " I'm sure not but He is.  When I fail He doesn't, He is faithful.  When I'm distraught, being weak in faith, He is faithful.  I will, can, must depend upon Him in all that I do; Looking for that blessed hope, the soon appearing of my great God and Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ.  He is my life, for I was crucified with Christ and risen, I no longer live now, but the life I now have is by His faithfulness to me that I have my being.  He is faithful to Himself, He can't deny Himself.  He is faithful to His Word that He cannot be separated from. I'm not in Him by anything I could have done, its all His work, it's all about Him and none of me; it came as a gift, a free gift.  I can't take pride in anything,  but to glory in Him.  For all things were made by Him and for Him, in Him all things are. It's impossible for Him to lie, in Him is no darkness at

Defining Light

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”   Gen 1:3 Please notice that there was light but what was the source of that light?   It isn’t until verse 14 that we see what is believed to be the source.   “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,   And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.   And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”   Genesis 1:14-19. But what was the source before the fourth day?   ”And the city had no need of the sun,

Believing in Vain, is it possible?

1 Corinthians 12:13 (KJV):   “ For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” “For by ONE Spirit and ONE body and have been all made to drink into ONE Spirit.   “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; o ne Lord, one faith, one baptism,   One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”   Ephesians 4:4-6.   Was recently told that they knew they were saved because of certain feelings they had in their spirit when they believed.   Another said that when they were baptized (water) they were born again.   I asked for Book, chapter, and verse;   they assured me that they would find it and give me the info.   It’s not about who’s right but what’s right .   Either I’m lost, still dead in my sin or they are.   Most all who have a lacking in the scriptures will get angry and fight back

Who do you want to see first?

2Corinthians 5:6-8 (KJV)   “ Therefore  we are  always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight:)    we are confident,  I say , and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” It was reported this week concerning the passing of 41, President George H.W. Bush that he had said he was looking forward to holding his firstborn, Robyn and holding Miss Barbara’s hand.   The only one I want to see when I pass over is the L ORD Jesus Christ!   The two best things or three are to be where God, the Lord Jesus Christ is and to have a body that has never seen sin will never experience death.   Past that I’ll leave it with God.   I am aware of this though:   “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.    But God hath revealed  them  unto us by
