God saw everything and ???

September 29th, 2017 Genesis 1:31- 2:3: (NKJ):   “ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold,  it was  very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.   Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.”   Hebrews 1:1-3:   “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by  his  Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of  his  glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”

"Atonement" what about it???

Romans 5:11 (KJV):   “And not only  so , but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” Looking at “atonement” before and after the cross:   “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word,  then  are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. ”   So why aren’t more professing,   freedom?   both in action (covert) and more often in their words (overtly):   are they apart from knowledge??? “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”   Hosea 4:6   Although written by, of and to the Israelites under the law, this still applies and affects us (Ro 15:4) in this:   law then, grace now.   That “the dispensation of the grace of God” (Eph 3:20);   now applies to us in that

Where too "Resort" to

Psalms 71:3   (KJV):   “Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.” i’m in South Eastern Oregon, staying at the Steen’s Mountain Wilderness Resort near Frenchglen.   That word “resort” has a different meaning in scripture to me.       (go to attachment to read more)   The first time here many years back i had camped in a oversized tent trailer al Fish Lake in the Steen’s.   Its was cumbersome and way to big; but i had it.   The camp site was out in the middle of no where, no running water, no water pump.   Pit toilets and little else, there may have been a three legged table set on a steep grade, angled heavily, which made it fairly level the way it had been placed.   It was a small lake about 50+/- acres in size, being stocked with Rainbow but also had a contingency of Brook Trout.   i had heard of the Donner & Blitzen River from John in the Cascade Family Flyfishers

Truth or Error ? ? ? ?

September 8th, 2017 Ephesians 4:25 (KJV):   Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Galatians 5:15 (KJV):   “But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.” Proverbs 6:16-18 (KJV):   “These six  things  doth the Lord hate:   yea, seven  are  an abomination unto him:   a proud look, a lying tongue,   and hands that shed innocent blood,   an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,”   Now that i’m older, I’ve had time to reflect on my life.   One of the most annoying elements of aging is not being able to recollect truth from error (error sounds so much better than lying).   Being in the Navy i had heard a many good stories, the telling of stories to others was and is still a way of getting attention, to be admired, accepted and enjoyed.   But now looking back i cannot remember if the things i said of those days where a
