One's love to God?

October 27, 2017 Deuteronomy 6:5 (KJV):   “ And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”   Do you? Have you told Him, just to be telling Him, just because it is in your heart too; L ORD Jesus, i love You, thank You . . . . . . i didn’t know there wasn’t a reference, nor a command in the ten commandments to “love the Lord thy God”.   i was somewhat aware of a verse somewhere, where a young man had asked how to attain eternal life of Jesus; but had never gave it much thought as to where it was written. i hear much of the ten commandments; even reference to the some 613   number of laws that were given to Israel.   “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.”   Romans 3:19.   “And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal l

Who's Faith ? ? ?

October 20th, 2017 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness  come  by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”   Galatians 2:20-21 (KJV)   i can’t recall a time when the faithfulness of God (L ORD Jesus) was exalted and emphasized in teachings or preachings.   When discussed the heart of those conversations are of what man is to do. An example: “So then faith  cometh  by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”Romans 10:17.   True; but then the emphases is on man and not God who is the only,   who can open mans heart to receive.   “And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard  us:   whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.”   Acts 16:14.   The qu

Is man deceived?

October 13th, 2017 1 Corinthians 15:17 (KJV):   “And if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.”           Is man deceived?   i suppose this will make some if not most angry with me.   But take time and do some research on what is written.   A whole lot more is spoken, written and sung of the cross.   Agreed the cross was necessary in part for salvation but not the end to salvation.   i’m willing to bet that 90% of the time spent, is spent on the observation and workings of the cross as being where ones focus should be; should it? What is the foremost symbol of Christianity?   i believe it to be the cross.   Other symbols may include fish, angels etc.   But is the cross a good symbol to present for Christianity?   Where did it, the cross, originate from, how did it come about to be the Christian symbol?   i have my beliefs but would encourage one to seek out for themselves (2 Tim 2:15 w/ Phil 2:15) and be like unto the Bereaian’s of Acts 17:1

Which Gospel ? ? ? Really!!!

October 06, 2017 Acts 2:14 (KJV) “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all  ye  that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:” Are we to hearken to his (Peter’s) words in this dispensation of the grace of God???    To whom was Peter addressing?    “ Ye men of Judaea, and all  ye  that dwell at Jerusalem,”   Acts 2:14b To whom was Peter addressing?   “ Ye men of Israel, hear these words; ” Acts 2:22 To whom was Peter addressing?   “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly”   Acts 2:36a Were these actions of Peter and John of “Law” or “Grace”?   “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer,  being the ninth  hour .”   Acts 3:1   (note: think; be careful in your answer ? ? ? ?) To whom was Peter addressing?   “And when Peter saw  it , he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel , why marvel ye at this? or why look ye s
