The issue of sin! God's perspective.

”Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” Romans 3:25.
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”John 1:29 (KJV)  “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.” Daniel 9:24

Those scriptures were all taken from the King James Version (Authorized) 1611.  So how does it get spun in what is taught today?  Continued in attachment.

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.” Daniel 9:24

What was to be accomplished in the future?  “ to finish the transgression”
“to make an end of sins” and “to make reconciliation for iniquity”.  Has that happened?  It’s a yes, no question.  Has the transgression been finished?  was there an end to sins?  has “reconciliation for iniquity been made?

1.  finish transgression =  It is finished  John 19:30
2.  end of sins =  “that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” 1 Timothy 1:15.  Forgiveness is where?  “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Ephesians 1:7 with “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”  Colossians 1:14.  What is left?  And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me;” John 16:8-9.
3.  “reconciliation for iniquity” =  “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”  2 Corinthians 5:18-19

Do those who claim Christ know what “sin” is.  Sin is death.  “For the wages of sin is death;” Romans 6:23a  sin’s end is death,  then to say sin is death is not wrong.

Did Jesus deal with sin? sin by death? that killed all mankind in Adam; “For as in Adam all die,”  1 Corinthians 15:22a.  The continuation of that verse is “even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”  1 Corinthians 15:22b.  Doesn’t say;  even so in Christ shall all be forgiven, (although later verses are given to show that, that is true).  We add to God’s finished work when we refuse to accept what God has done (past tense) in Christ for us who can’t;  i.e.  “ Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”  Romans 3:25.  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have” forgiveness? nope doesn’t say that;  and that they might have it (lifemore abundantly”, if they keep their sins confessed, doesn’t say that either.  That’s the way most think of Christ and His finished work on the cross.  But what saith the scriptures?  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  John 10:10.  That i might have life, not forgiveness.  If, one is in Christ, does that individual have forgiveness?  So then, think long and hard on this, really think this through with scripture:  One says he believes and then goes and 1 John 1:9’s and is asking for forgiveness, is that confessing individual saying by his confession that then he is not in Christ.  Being in Christ is where forgiveness is at (Eph 1:7 & Col 1:14), then by a lack of faith, confesses over and over, does that one believe what God has said of His Son concerning their personal salvation?  And when he (the Holy Spirit) is come, he will reprove (show) the world of sin, and of righteousness (presents Christ), and of judgment: of sin, because they believe (faith) not on me;” John 16:8-9.

Sidebar:  Why i lothe all but the King James version, it destroys life.  i do not believe God would have encouraged King James to conscript a version of the Hebrew and Greek scriptural manuscripts and they to be lacking.  Will God allow His Word to stand for some four hundred years and there be error, i don’t think so.  How will God judge man at the judgement?  What book will He use? “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15.  “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”  Romans 2:16.  But if sincere,  that in rejecting what Paul has given us, by the Holy Spirit have declared by their own witness:   “Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”  Philippians 3:17-21.

Heard a man of prominence recently speaking and quoting from the scripture he uses  say: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 NIV.  Does one confess to be forgiven or to be “healed”?  If forgiven, what was God speaking of in the scriptures given opposing that thought previously.  If a healing, i ask a healing of or from what?  It’s of the same bent when preacher/teachers use:  “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24; as a scripture for physical healing; really.  Men, all men will use and spin scripture for their particular belief of the scripture (myself included).  Forget what everyone else says, myself especially; and believe what God has given us in His Word.  Fellowships are lazy, for that matter the Church is lazy.  The Church surly needs to take Pauls advise, literally:  “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”  1 Corinthians 11:1.

Sidebar:  This is not only for you but all the more for myself also. “An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?”  Romans 2:20-22:  We have God’s Word, and then there are sham’s that call themselves professors of “God’s Word”.  How does one know which is which: what is what?  That’s where only the Holy Spirit and yourself can go by faith.  Remember Romans 10:17, if not go read it.

Second scripture given:  “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”  John 1:29.   The apostles that were with Christ knew what sin was by the law.  They didn’t know nor had it been revealed what sin is.  There’s a big difference between knowing what was and what is.  All their lives Israel knew that there was one coming who would remove sin, just as John the Baptist reveals here when speaking.  But it wasn’t until Paul, that the revelation of what sin is was given.  So now ask yourself the question, was John correct when he said “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29;  is that statement true or a lie?  If a lie why even bother with any of this?  But it being true we in this dispensation now “If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:” Ephesians 3:2.  But not of the dispensation of the law of God which proclaimed the One to come:  “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”  Genesis 3:15.  Again Nebuchadnezzar’s second dream given in Daniel 4.  John the Baptist’s purpose, pronouncing the coming of the Messiah:  “And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.”  John 1:31.  Many other more and lesser known scriptures through out the Word.  So again, did Jesus take away the sin of the world?  If not, then its all a lie, and if yes why keep confessing something already done.  “(for we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7.  Again i ask, is confessing over and over, “by sight” one’s continual confessing; not believing what was accomplished in death, burial and resurrection?  Or is it to believe “walk by faith” believing “It is finished”.  Small, short question but with eternal consequences if “ye have believed in vain.”  1 Corinthians 15:2b.   So by the law man knew he was separated from God, but not until Paul was it revealed that man is dead.   Although there are those who would say, that by Jesus saying that He had come to give life was enough and from that they could figure out that they were dead spiritually.  If that be so why did Adam eat, Eve wasn’t dead physically and so Adam ate; Adam had doubted what God had said to that point. Adam only had what God said and not all the ramifications to his actions, an inability to understand: after he ate that would come upon man.
God has never asked us to understand or comprehend what He has said, but requires one to believe:  Faith + nothing!!!

Third scripture: “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God”  Romans 3:25.  pro·pi·ti·a·tion  (prō-pĭsh′ē-ā′shən)
n.
1. The act of propitiating.
2. Something that propitiates, especially a conciliatory offering to a god.

“Whom”  Jesus, the Christ of God. to be a propitiation, an substitute acceptable to God for my sin.  Provided by God, from God for me “IF” i would believe and receive what God had provided “in Him”.  That being having complete faith, faith plus nothing of me, believing God’s provision for  me that is allocated only by faith; eliminating works, any works where as the individual believes, thinks, was taught that there is something. any thing that needs to be added.  Those enemies of the cross of Christ come saying as the jewedizers did aforetime, yea; but you still need to keep the law of Moses.  You need to be circumcised; keep the sabbath.  That being then and we make light how daft they were and then we our selves saying:  you need to keep your sins confessed, need to be baptized, need to pay tithe, need to join this or that fellowship.  Need too, got too, have too, will do, should do, can do, all a bunch of voodoo.  What does that say to God about what we think of His Son; remember MR T from a long past series on Television, the “A” Team, what was his favorite saying?  “I pity the fool” well said Mr T.

His righteousness, not mine but His, same as His faithfulness, His love, His hope, His work, His way.  Its all about Him and none of me, but by the grace of God, through belief i can share in His work on my behalf.  For what if “the remission of sins” comes when i confess, if that be, how do i reconcile this?  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”  2 Corinthians 5:18-19.  “Sins that are past”; the way people, both laity and pastors will spin this to make it:  “Those are sins in the past; up unto the crucifixion, after that they have to be confessed when made known.  That makes them “sins that are past”.  Unbelief, no other word for it.

Sins were removed by Jesus Christ’s blood on the Old rugged Cross, i’m so glad that there is nothing anyone can say or do that will change a moment of what God has said of me, about me, for me.

Thank You for loving me and giving me Your life.  i’m so very, very thankful to You for what You have done for me.  i believe You and everything You have said, i have Your letter of love to me

, signed in Your blood;

“Hallelujah what a thought Jesus full salvation brought”,
Victory, Victory.  Let the power’s of sin assail,
Heaven’s grace can never fail, Victory victory
Victory . . . . . Yes victory Hallelujah I am free
Jesus gives me victory, Glory Glory, Hallelujah
He is all . . . . . . in all to me . . . . . . . .

I am trusting in the LORD , I am standing on His Word
Victory, Victory, I have peace and joy within
Since my life is free from sin Victory, Victory

Shout Your freedom every where, His eternal peace declare
Victory, Victory, Let us sing it here below
In the face of every foe.  Victory, Victory

We will sing it on that shore, When this fleeting life is over
Victory, Victory, Sing it here, ye ransomed throng
Start the everlasting song,  Victory, victory

You can also enter this ransom throng by believing the gospel:

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”  1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

Thank You Jesus, this is my prayer, in Jesus’s name, in Your name Amen…

Was he saved? How?

“The heart  is  deceitful above all  things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”J eremiah 17:9   “ He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” Psalm 24:4   All scripture references are taken from the Authorized (King James) Versions unless other wise noted. There was a man who once lived alone, he was what is often called a hermit a vagabond.   He had never been told of God, Jesus or the gospel as given from the Bible. He knew in his heart, that there was something, something outside himself, something was needed to make himself complete.   Several years previously while scrounging and looking for anything useful he discovered a Bible.   He put it away, safely where he lived and forgot about it.   Some years later there was a harsh winter storm, frozen deep snow had completely shut him in.   Although secure in his abode and safe from the destructive winter he would survive.   He had no electricit

Concluding then?

I  have been doing these on this platform for now on 4 years.  Before I used other platforms since 2010 or thereabouts.  I have never had one question and only one comment in all those years.  I did have one correction when one reader observed that I had referenced 1 Corinthians when actually I should have used 2 Corinthians, that was about six or seven years ago.    I now place my thoughts and understandings on Facebook  In His service;   James Brown

Why the "authorized" KJV?

"Wherefore art thou  red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat."  Isaiah 63:2 [in context read 63:1-6]  " A certain man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it , and digged a place for the winefat,"  Mark 12:1b and c.   While listening to a recent TV minister I observed what I thought at the time a miss-spelling in the text of the Bible I currently use, in which I have found several.  It's a King James Version "Authorized", and have often wondered what's the difference between the given as "authorized" and the other not.   After some research and consideration, I saw this.  Thinking it was a textural error I checked several other KJV authorized and non-authorized finding they all used the word winevat.  But the authorized used both "vat" and "fat".  So why the disparity in the spelling and only used in those two places in scripture? To me, it was getting interesting.  I have lear
