Concerning the question that was asked several weeks back, I have this to add.
Genesis 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Did Adam die that day that he ate thereof?
1 Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Being "in Christ" is the how-to of that verse.
1 Corinthians 15:39-41 "All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the star in glory"
Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death: and was not found because God translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."
Albert Einstien: "Education isn't the learning of facts but the teaching of one to think."
People who say that Christ didn't die spiritually have refused to think. I believe most will just believe what they are told and will not pursue the questions they may have any further. That has and continues to get me in trouble today. If I don't accept the denominations dogma without question (going outside what is taught by them) am excluded and abhorred, even my own Mother. She was very upset with me when I told her that by being in Christ, she and I were/are, brother/sister in Christ more, than Mother and Son.
Strong's Concordance would be of great help in word studies. I have read and understand. There is far too much information to copy so that another may or may not read. However, I do strongly recommend using a concordance, and by prayer seek out "What saith the Scriptures".
