How so be ye?



2 Corinthians 4:1-4 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
4 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;  but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

To me, this is the whole essence of man's rebellion to
God’s being.  “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6  Man will refuse to believe that God even is, so why should one that does think that will have an interest of spiritual things.  “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”  1 Corinthians 2:14.  So man says aloud and in his dead spirit [absence of God’s life and presence: see 2 Thess 1:7-10]  It is then said of those   “I don’t know and I don’t care”.  

But unto us who believe and are made alive unto God by that shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, by grace through faith are now:  “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
Ephesians 1:13-15.  
     
“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time 
to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”  Romans 13:11

  2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things  done  in  his  body, according to that he hath done, whether  it be  good or bad. Ephesians 4:4 There is  one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; The word “body” has many definitions.   In 2 Corinthians 5:10, Strong’s #4983 defines body as “used in a very wide application”. Acts 16:29-31 Authorized King James Version [AKJV]:   'Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said Sirs, what must I do to be saved?   And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."   The question that has plagued man thought out history; what must one believe to be saved?   Believe the gospel which is what?   " Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1Corinthains 15:1-4.   To believe that t...

Who Provides?

JEHOVAH-JIREH In Hebrew “JEHOVA-JIREH is defined as “The L ORD my Provider”.   The word “provider” as used here isn’t a given.   The item being provided must be believed to be authentic and is capable of doing what is promised. Until one believes God [ But without faith  it is  impossible to please  him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and  that  he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
