Rejecting God's Word, how so ???

1 Timothy 2:12 [AKJV]:  "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
1 Timothy 5:14 [AKJV]:  "I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully."

Women Bible teachers and having authority over a man are not to be.  Man has succumb to the woman's demand [as in the garden] and has rejected God's Word.  Women have a place in God's creation, not subservient to man but in relationship with man [equal to but in a different administration] to be (Gen 2:23-25) "one flesh".  Woman has rejected the counsel of God and have desired to be not equal too, but to rule over.  There some two hundred [Listing of]  female United States presidential and vice-presidential candidates.  Information taken from Wikipedia.

God's Word isn't a guideline to be discussed in conference, voted on and action taken on the outcome.  True we are not under law as was Israel in "times past".  But are still to glorify God in not only believing what He has said is best for us but to do what is best for us [2 Timothy 3:16-17].  That has its roots in original sin, think that through if you will.

God had said in times past; "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.  Believe what of Him?  Book, chapter, and verse please.  Paul received what is to be believed today when he wrote:  "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." Galatians 1:11-12.  So what is that gospel preached of Paul for us today?  "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"  1 Corinthians 15:1-4.  ***  One doesn't often hear this hardly anywhere.  People get upset when they are told that John 3:16 or Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are not the gospel for us today. Man will try to spin:  "And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; as also in all his [Paul] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before [being written in His Word], beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."  2 Peter 3:15-18.  Why are they hard to understand?  Because they are not taken by faith, that they are the living Words of God for us.  Don't have to understand it, I don't have to comprehend it but when God has given us His Word he expects us to believe Him.

Man has given in to satan [2 Corinthians 4:4] and allowed him to not only persuade women to rule over but convinces man to believe and allow it.  Man has left off the counsel of God and is and has placated to other gods of this world for doctrine, reproof, correction and loss of righteousness.   Example:  abortion, permits murder but allows permissiveness of fornication and adultery to go unchecked in society.  "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.  1 Thessalonians 3:10.  So we vote in give aways and support individuals wanting free schools, free medical free free free . . . . . . .  in its society.  Then when things go south whine and complain why would God, if there be God, allow such happenings.  "The fool has said in his heart [there is] no God."  Psalms 14:1 and 53:1 respectfully.  Italics dropped to be read as intended.  Just for good measure read all of Psalms 14, 53 for context, note that the verbiage is nearly identical, interesting and compelling to say the least.  Then if one doesn't know why italics were added and why one should know the why of and how it impacts the removal of in modern-day versions.

***  Concerning the differences of "times past" and of "but now"  What was to be believed when Jesus gave us John 3:16.  One was to keep the law, spiritually {John 4:24} morally, ceremonially and socially as given in the Torah.  They were to be circumcised on the 8th day, not the seventh or the ninth day but the eighth day {Genesis 17}.  Why the eighth day?  That makes for a good study as to why, well worth the time and effort.  Continuing then, to believe that Jesus of Nazareth was for them [Israel] in that dispensation of law [only] was Messiah, "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."  Matthew 16:16.  Then as John the Baptist came preaching to be baptized for the remission of sin, be baptized.  The question as to why to be baptized is also an interesting study to make.  "But now" to believe one is a sinner and believe the gospel given by Paul to us, humanity;  short, sweet and simple.

Eternal or Everlasting life; which is it?

John 3:16 (KJV)   “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life .” Why everlasting life, why not eternal life?   is there a difference and if so what? Most resources I have available were of the opinion that they are the same.   I needed to dig deeper.   I soon found that all of man’s ideas on the subject were based on their opinion and very little scripture if any, then the easily discounted.   If I am to find the answer I seek, which is truth; I need to consult scripture.   Words in blue aren’t scripture. “Let a man so account of us ( Paul and his fellow workers ), as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.   1 Corinthians 4:1.   So I was right to search the scriptures concerning my question: to find this answer in His Word. When I started this word study the first thing I noticed was that the most sig...

Importance of Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:17  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   “ And if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.” I am amazed at how ignorant most are of their salvation.   I will ask “Why, do you think you’ll go to heaven?” or   What happens when you die?”   ninety nine out of a hundred will answer with “Jesus died for my sins.”   True; “Jesus died for the sins of the world, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   John1:29b.   That is most true but also is “and if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.”   Jesus had to die for the purpose of removing sin, “to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”   2 Corinthians 5:19.   But this reconciliation can only come when one believes the gospel as pres...

When did the "Church" begin for us today ? ? ?

1 Timothy 1:15-16  (King James Version 1611):  " This is  a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (first, beginning Strong's Concordance # 4413).  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him for life everlasting. The "Church" didn't start with Peter and his presentation of Acts 2:38.  The "Church" started when Paul was on the Damascus Road.  Then it took numerous years in the desert for Paul to come to the understanding of "Faith plus nothing" (Les Feldick).  We are saved by grace through faith, who's faith (Romans 1:17)? "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,  If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation (Galatians 1:11-12) he ma...
