Death! from who's perspective?

Genesis 2:17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)  "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:4 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)  "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:"
God saith one thing in verse 2:17 and Satan appears to oppose what God has said in 3:4; is there another alternative?  What saith the scripture?  This is where "rightly dividing the word of truth" 2 Timothy 2:15c comes into play.  This is not a new concept, or a apostle Paul's understanding but has been through out time.  Isaiah wrote "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:"  Isaiah 28:10.  God could have given man a more pre or less clandestine verbiage but did as is.  We are to  "Study to shew thyself approved unto God"  2 Timothy 2:15b; not to impress God, but to know why God in Christ has accepted us.  One studies to know the author (God: Father, Son, Holy Spirit) to increase faith and "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;" Colossians 1:10.
So now let me continue with this word "die"? "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Hebrews 9:27.  Knowing the whole of scripture I read that: "shall not be hurt of the second death."  "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,  "This is the second death."  "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  Revelation 2:11, 20:6, 20:14 and 21:8 respectfully all deal with a second death, respectfully.
If there is certainly a second death then a first death must also be.  What is that first dead?  "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."  That then is the first death.  Was it a spiritual death or a physical death?  see Genesis 5:4-5.  Reading, I understand it was a spiritual death God was first speaking of.  Does God speak of physical death?  Yes, read a few of these passages to confirm physical death:  Genesis 5; see the difference in types of deaths given in Genesis 5:21-24.  Enoch did not experience physical death.  Then again Elijah which can be read of in 2 Kings 2, where he is taken into the second heaven but not the third heaven as was Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:1-6.
Back to the concept of death and dying.  If there then be a second death there is a first death.  That first death was in Adam's disobedience to God's command not to eat there of.  The second death then is after the Great White Throne judgement of God on those who have not believed God and what He has said to man by prophet, apostle and His fished Word; see Colossians 1:25.  The word fulfil is given in Stong's Concordance # 4137 (IV) To fulfil, bring to a full end, accomplish, complete. (B) as "Of a business or work, to accomplish, finish complete.
We all died spiritualy once:  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23  but with "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23; we are all given a hope of eternal life by grace through faith.
So is it then proper for a believer:  "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."  2 Corinthians 5:17 to die again.  We must distinguish between physical and spiritual death when speaking.  In physical death, man departs his fleshly body, this temporal holding unit as it were.  At separation comes judgement were one will stand in one's own righteousness or will repent, confess and stand in Christ's righteousness.  "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."  2 Corinthians 5:21.  "Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification." Romans 4:25.
Death from Gods perspective is spiritual, that is being serrated from Him, God, by man's sin.  God made provision to be made new and have eternal life in Him, Christ: believing by grace through faith.
Do your own word and precept study and learn of Him and who you are in Him.

Eternal or Everlasting life; which is it?

John 3:16 (KJV)   “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life .” Why everlasting life, why not eternal life?   is there a difference and if so what? Most resources I have available were of the opinion that they are the same.   I needed to dig deeper.   I soon found that all of man’s ideas on the subject were based on their opinion and very little scripture if any, then the easily discounted.   If I am to find the answer I seek, which is truth; I need to consult scripture.   Words in blue aren’t scripture. “Let a man so account of us ( Paul and his fellow workers ), as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.   1 Corinthians 4:1.   So I was right to search the scriptures concerning my question: to find this answer in His Word. When I started this word study the first thing I noticed was that the most sig...

Importance of Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:17  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   “ And if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.” I am amazed at how ignorant most are of their salvation.   I will ask “Why, do you think you’ll go to heaven?” or   What happens when you die?”   ninety nine out of a hundred will answer with “Jesus died for my sins.”   True; “Jesus died for the sins of the world, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   John1:29b.   That is most true but also is “and if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.”   Jesus had to die for the purpose of removing sin, “to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”   2 Corinthians 5:19.   But this reconciliation can only come when one believes the gospel as pres...

When did the "Church" begin for us today ? ? ?

1 Timothy 1:15-16  (King James Version 1611):  " This is  a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (first, beginning Strong's Concordance # 4413).  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him for life everlasting. The "Church" didn't start with Peter and his presentation of Acts 2:38.  The "Church" started when Paul was on the Damascus Road.  Then it took numerous years in the desert for Paul to come to the understanding of "Faith plus nothing" (Les Feldick).  We are saved by grace through faith, who's faith (Romans 1:17)? "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,  If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation (Galatians 1:11-12) he ma...
