2Corinthians 5:6-8 (KJV) “Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight:) we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
It was reported this week concerning the passing of 41, President George H.W. Bush that he had said he was looking forward to holding his firstborn, Robyn and holding Miss Barbara’s hand.
The only one I want to see when I pass over is the LORD Jesus Christ! The two best things or three are to be where God, the Lord Jesus Christ is and to have a body that has never seen sin will never experience death.
Past that I’ll leave it with God. I am aware of this though: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9:10.
But with what I think I know that is to be kept close to the chest, to rejoice and praise in the grace of God. Paul goes into some detail in 2 Corinthians 12:1-6, good advise.
