Who's faith ?

Galatians 2:20 (KJV)  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”  Romans 12:2.  Here I’m given (instruction 2 Timothy  3:16-17): instruction in what and how to do being a “new creature": old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new,  if any man  be in Christ,”  2 Corinthians 5:17.  The world and its god is shown here: “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.  That hidden gospel that the god of this world doesn’t want one to see is:  “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”  1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

Most by now have an understanding of this but still are being led away by the deceitfulness of satan, “the god of this world.”  Most then follow with this:  “Say what, “I know in whom I have believed and He is able to keep that I have committed unto Him”, from 2 Timothy 1:12.  My response is; “Really, how to be that when there is such disparity in faith and what is believed of faith.”

One's faith is given by God:  “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”  Romans 12:3.  That being true still isn’t enough, but one needs to know how to employ faith properly, to give credit where credit is due; as if to say then.  I have asked this before and as of yet received an answer.  “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”  Romans 1:17.
That “faith to faith” means what?  Who’s faith, to/from to who’s faith to or from?

Who is the one that has added and misused the Bible translations since those scriptures were written?  Sure isn’t God, God’s Word is sure and again:  “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
2 Timothy 3:16.  But I believe God has allowed satan to fiddle with copies and translations of scriptures from the very beginning.  From the dead sea scrolls, the nearly total complete writing of Isaiah was unearthed.  It was found to be near word perfect to today's Bible.  But the question is which one.  Wasn’t the NIV, or the Message, neither a paraphrase, but the present day King James Version of 1611.  People say but it's so hard to read and understand, I like a more up to date translation of this or that.  They fail to realize they to are being deceived by the god of this world.  If that is correct and I’m sure that it is, how has God allowed satan to fiddle with scriptures, the original scriptures.  One has to go no farther than the wilderness temptation of Christ given in Matthew 4:1-11, but precisely verse eleven where satan quotes scripture to Christ.  If one doesn’t have that Word given and by the Holy Spirit giving discernment one is still lead if not by God, the LORD Jesus Christ, but the God of this world.

Now to the point I’m wanting to be seen.  “I live by the faith of the Son of God”  Galatians 2:20b.  I am saved by grace through faith, His faith to Himself and his word.  It was His faith that he gave me to believe but still His faith.  I use the faith that He has given me to believe Him in what He has revealed to me that will allow me to appropriate salvation.  Even my faith that is given by Him to me is needed to be exercised in truth: “full of grace and truth.” John1:14c; speaking of Christ who is “truth”.

It's all, again “ALL” about Him and Him alone; “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  Acts 4:12.

His love, His faith, His death, His burial and His resurrection, His work:  all of Him and none of me:  but just to believe Him and all He has said, then living accordingly.

Eternal or Everlasting life; which is it?

John 3:16 (KJV)   “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life .” Why everlasting life, why not eternal life?   is there a difference and if so what? Most resources I have available were of the opinion that they are the same.   I needed to dig deeper.   I soon found that all of man’s ideas on the subject were based on their opinion and very little scripture if any, then the easily discounted.   If I am to find the answer I seek, which is truth; I need to consult scripture.   Words in blue aren’t scripture. “Let a man so account of us ( Paul and his fellow workers ), as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.   1 Corinthians 4:1.   So I was right to search the scriptures concerning my question: to find this answer in His Word. When I started this word study the first thing I noticed was that the most sig...

Importance of Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:17  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   “ And if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.” I am amazed at how ignorant most are of their salvation.   I will ask “Why, do you think you’ll go to heaven?” or   What happens when you die?”   ninety nine out of a hundred will answer with “Jesus died for my sins.”   True; “Jesus died for the sins of the world, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   John1:29b.   That is most true but also is “and if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.”   Jesus had to die for the purpose of removing sin, “to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”   2 Corinthians 5:19.   But this reconciliation can only come when one believes the gospel as pres...

When did the "Church" begin for us today ? ? ?

1 Timothy 1:15-16  (King James Version 1611):  " This is  a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (first, beginning Strong's Concordance # 4413).  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him for life everlasting. The "Church" didn't start with Peter and his presentation of Acts 2:38.  The "Church" started when Paul was on the Damascus Road.  Then it took numerous years in the desert for Paul to come to the understanding of "Faith plus nothing" (Les Feldick).  We are saved by grace through faith, who's faith (Romans 1:17)? "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,  If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation (Galatians 1:11-12) he ma...
