John 10:10 (KJV): “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
satan doesn’t want people to realize that there dead and need life. If he can get the person to seek anything else but life he wins.
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” John 5:39-40
satan runs interference: he can’t destroy Gods Word, for He, God, is that Word: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 So he’ll put so many different versions out, construct so many different denominations, infuse different beliefs within those denominations, add cults and occult practices he’ll have all of us at each others throats. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 The church, the true church, not fellowships of socializing foolishness, have forgotten of whom our fight is with. So when one speaks out and denies another gospel being presented: “ I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:” Galatians 1:6. They are rejected, condemned, ridiculed and expelled. Because satan has got them, like Eve, to believe a lie: “ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” 1st Timothy 2:14.
“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners;” 1 Timothy 1:15
True; but God has used different ways in trying to reach man. Most agree that we are no longer under law, but refuse to understand dispensations.
Again playing into satan’s hands through lies and error.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12
Man gets sick and most see the Doctor, have tooth issues, see their Dentist. Car problems go to the mechanic, Tree needs removed call an Arborist. Then why is it strange when man has spiritual concerns, not to go to a Pastor, Father, spiritual leader for counsel. Man refuses to take responsibility for his eternal destination. God by His Word has given mankind instruction, but man doesn’t have time and then wonders why all the derision. We have failed to: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5-6 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
But thats so simple, surely theres more to it than that. “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:3.
