What's is your Bible translation, why?



Mark 1:1-2 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)      1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; as it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Take your copy, yes copy of the scripture and read those verses.  Most, not all but most read “Even as it is written in Isaiah the prophet”; American Standard, Amplified, English Standard, International Standard as well as most others.  Can you find in Isaiah where it reads of a messenger being sent before Messiah comes?  
Are there mistakes in God’s Word?  If there is one then is it God’s Word?  Why would one want to read and adhere to a book that has errors, even one error, scripture, or not?  
Back to the question;  where is it written that a messenger was to be sent?  “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”  Malachi 3:1.  Is that not the verse that Mark references in his writing?  
True there are misprints and printing errors in the “COPIES” we have today, but there should never be error in the Spirit of the Word passed down to us.  
Quit those so-called Bible translations that are many in number and platitudes; “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”  Hebrews 4:11-13.  Supporting scripture of how satan will and does work in the world,  2 Corinthians 4:1-4.

  2 Timothy 2:14-16     Authorized (King James) Version:   “ Of these things put  them  in remembrance, charging  them  before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit,  but  to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane  and  vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” There is in the military a directive that when one receives conflicting orders one will follow the last order given.   Really that makes a lot of sense to one who has sense, but therein lies the rub. God's good pleasure in you

Philippians 2:13 (KJV)   “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of  his  good pleasure.” It is our responsibility to allow God to be God in our lives; we needn’t worry of our situations, we need to learn:   “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”   2 Timothy 1:12.   What things do we suffer?   Does it matter, really in the light of eternity what is our present suffering, large or small:   “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time  are  not worthy  to be compared  with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”   Romans 8:18.   Do we not have a promise from God concerning trails:   “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God  is  faithful, w...

It's a big responsibility

  1 Thessalonians 1:4 [Authorized King James Version]   “But as we were allowed by God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.”   All passages are taken from the Authorized King James Version unless otherwise noted. “But as we were allowed by God”   Who were/are the “we”?   “Allowed by God” to do what and how?   “God is all wise, in grace wisdom, love and faithfulness can either hide from {Luke 18:34] or be seen of those who by faith believing {Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38}.   “But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6.   So how does that saving faith come?   “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”   Romans   10:17.   “to be put in trust with the gospel” ...
