What saith the Scripture

John 1:29 [AKJV]:   “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   Is that true?   Has that happened?   When did it happen?   How do you know it happened? If one can’t answer those basic questions how can one be assured that it has happened?   When satan was tempting Jesus in the desert he asked;   “If those the Son of God, command these stones be made bread.”   “If thou be the Son of God cast thyself down: for as it written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee upset at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”   The third temptation:   “All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”   Matthew 3:3, 6, and verse 9 [AKJV]. Romans 6:14   [King James Version]:   “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” There is a solution to sin in man.   That solution is to believe God and what God has said of man; man’s problem. GOD’S Life Matters Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man  of  the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of  life ; and man became a living soul. In scripture life is spoken of in two ways, one of a physical nature and one of spiritual.   We as believers of the LORD Jesus Christ must be taught by the Holy Spirit in truth.   We do not know truth [Jo 17:17] apart from the Holy Spirit who is the believers teacher in spiritual things [1 Cor 2:14].  ...

Ecclesiastes 12:7 [AKJV]:   “ Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” There is a sites on the internet explaining why we are here, what our purpose is, what happens when we die and so on.   Why would a intelligent human being want to consult a secondary source? Everything I ever have wanted to know is within the pages of the King James Bible.   Man then in his mindful wisdom thinks that he can and will improve on God’s Word. My response is taken from that same Word; “Who  is  this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?   Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.” Job 38:1-3 and continuing.
