Genesis 1:1 {Authorized King James Bible}: “ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” The first verse of the first book of the Bible. In the beginning created the “heaven”. First thing that came to my mind was is there only one? “I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.” That being true then it stands to reason there is a first heaven and a second, right? Most all versions have “heavens” not heaven. Why the difference? Man tries to improve on God’s Word.
