What saith the Scripture

John 15:5 (KJV):   “ I am the vine, ye  are  the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ( God, the L ORD Jesus Christ ) ye can do nothing .”         Words in blue not scripture. 1Timothy 1:15 (KJV):   ”This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." In a recent home Bible study, a request was made for my understanding of where and in whom did the church, the body of Christ, start.   This understanding as presented is quite different than most all other understandings.   I have sought out rebuttals but as of this date there haven’t been any; that option is still open. John 3:16 (KJV)   “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life .” Why everlasting life, why not eternal life?   is there a difference and if so what?
