satan's ploy

John 10:10  {King James Version]:  "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
Satan, Lucifer, that ole enemy of God is that thief, murder and destroyer.  He has since the beginning been that.  But man will continue to reject the truth and believe the lie just as at the beginning with Adam. [2 Cor 4:4]
When Adam sinned man died, the living Spirit of God left man and man died, spiritually.  Man is a triune being, body, soul [mind, will, and emotions] and spirit. Man will never cease to be but will leave this human body
As it is written man will die once [spiritualy] in Adam without exception [Heb 9:27]. Man is left with two choices; choose wisely. it has eternal consequences.
The first choice, man will stand in judgment at the Great White Throne [Rev 20:11-15].  The second choice is to believe God "to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." 2 Cor 5:19.  He, Jesus Christ did this by dying, being buried and rising again.  Paul tells us this:  "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;  by which also ye are saved if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
Christ, Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth had to die, and in so doing gained back what was lost in Adam.  If Jesus had not died to take away {not just cover but to take away; John 1:29] sin, the next time after being saved would sin again [Ro 6:23a] then that man would die again.  That can't happen now when one is in Christ [learn what that means Eph 1:7, Col 1:14] because your spirit is renewed by believing what has been done for you when you believe.

God’s Way to Salvation

Hebrews 11:6 Authorized King James Version (AKJV): “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”  Believe that God is, do you?  Next.
Hebrews 9:22 (AKJV)  “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” God requires blood payment for sin, pure perfect blood, next.
Romans 3:23 (AKJV) “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”  Are you included in that “ALL”  continue.
1 Corinthians 15:1/4 (AKJV)  “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” The gospel that saves, next.
Ephesians 4:4/7( AKJV)  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” Spiritual, all Gods work Okay, next.
1 Corinthians 12:12/13: (AKJV)  For as the body [the church, Christ’s body, believers on earth] is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”  Again, placed, baptized into, next.
2 Corinthians 5:17/21 (AKJV) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”  Because of Christ, God can make this offer to those who believe Him.  Continuing then, next.
Galatians 2:20/21  (AKJV)   “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”  By exercising the faith He gave me in what He has said about me in His Word.
Romans 12:3 (AKJV)  “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”  Faith;  to trust, believe.
Ephesians 1:13/14  (AKJV)  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
Ephesians 3:14/21 (AKJV)   “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”  It’s all Him and none of us,  either we believe Him or Satan, there's only two choices!
If you haven't yet, I invite you, beg you to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.  If you have never believed and come to that understanding, I ask you to believe the gospel and be made new in the body of Christ.  Agree with God you are a sinner needing to be saved.  The Gospel is simple: it’s who Jesus is and what Christ did in His Death, Burial & Resurrection for you;   Christ died for all our sins: 2 Cor 5:21.  He was buried John 19:38/42 & arose again for our justification Ro 4:25 & 1 Corinthians 15; the resurrection chapter. It's not what you know or when, where and how you say what you say but the truthfulness of the heart in belief. Tell Him, your LORD, Savior, Redeemer, Salvation and believe Him for life.    "Lord Jesus, I believe You; help me"  If this is the truth in your heart and God knows, in that moment of belief,  you are then made new in Him! Eternal or Everlasting life; which is it?

John 3:16 (KJV)   “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life .” Why everlasting life, why not eternal life?   is there a difference and if so what? Most resources I have available were of the opinion that they are the same.   I needed to dig deeper.   I soon found that all of man’s ideas on the subject were based on their opinion and very little scripture if any, then the easily discounted.   If I am to find the answer I seek, which is truth; I need to consult scripture.   Words in blue aren’t scripture. “Let a man so account of us ( Paul and his fellow workers ), as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.   1 Corinthians 4:1.   So I was right to search the scriptures concerning my question: to find this answer in His Word. When I started this word study the first thing I noticed was that the most sig...

Importance of Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:17  Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV):   “ And if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.” I am amazed at how ignorant most are of their salvation.   I will ask “Why, do you think you’ll go to heaven?” or   What happens when you die?”   ninety nine out of a hundred will answer with “Jesus died for my sins.”   True; “Jesus died for the sins of the world, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”   John1:29b.   That is most true but also is “and if Christ be not raised, your faith  is  vain; ye are yet in your sins.”   Jesus had to die for the purpose of removing sin, “to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”   2 Corinthians 5:19.   But this reconciliation can only come when one believes the gospel as pres...

When did the "Church" begin for us today ? ? ?

1 Timothy 1:15-16  (King James Version 1611):  " This is  a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (first, beginning Strong's Concordance # 4413).  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him for life everlasting. The "Church" didn't start with Peter and his presentation of Acts 2:38.  The "Church" started when Paul was on the Damascus Road.  Then it took numerous years in the desert for Paul to come to the understanding of "Faith plus nothing" (Les Feldick).  We are saved by grace through faith, who's faith (Romans 1:17)? "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,  If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation (Galatians 1:11-12) he ma...
