It's your choice

2 Corinthians 11:12-14 (AKJV):  But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (AKJV): For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
God through His Word has warned us of the treachery of Satan’s devilish ways.  We are to study to show ourself why God approves of us.  So that we are not to be ashamed when questioned why one believes and what he believes.  When one starts ones answer with; “Well I believe, Iv’e been told. my denomination believes, well I heard this man, pastor, teacher on radio or television host say”  That could very well be Satan’s apostle, pastor, teacher doing the telling there of.
We have God’s Word in  written form.  It was once hid and chained to the catholic pulpit.  God by His will gave us His Word by using King James.  All that is ever needed is there.  The Holy Spirit will teach and guide ones path in His Word and reveal the Lord Jesus Christ through those Words and pages when one will believe.
Over the years I have heard many reason’s why that the reader shouldn’t read or even to follow the King James Version.  Also why one should avoid other translations.  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 10:6.  Paul wrote; “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”  Ephesians 4:3-7.  There is only one way!
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”  Don’t just read it but have ears to hear what saith the scripture.
The narrow way with a strait gate relates to the one way of Paul’s writings and with John writing “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.” John 1:1-2.  Followed with; “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14.
As opposed to wide is the gate and broad is the way, or to say many ways as taught by most all when the Bible, the King James Version is denied or discredited.

Fear of death, no fear but faith prevails

2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV):   “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” True life experience.   While out, I came across an acquaintance I had been with in a fellowship some time back.   His name is Bob, he reported that his wife of nearly fifty years had passed.   He explained his sorrow in her passing and then went on to say this.   The personnel in the hospital knew by Bobs witness that they were both in Christ, believers of the gospel.   She, his wife was kept heavily sedated and was most always comatose.   Just before she passed, with in minutes of her departure she became totally, fully awake, an elated smile came over her face with an unnatural glow and then passed.   I have always thought that when death comes those in Christ at that moment of passing experience the rapture.   They are removed from the bonds of time and are advanc...

Which Body?

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things  done  in  his  body, according to that he hath done, whether  it be  good or bad. Ephesians 4:4 There is  one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; The word “body” has many definitions.   In 2 Corinthians 5:10, Strong’s #4983 defines body as “used in a very wide application”. First look at 2 Corinthians 5:10, and remove the italics.   Italics are not scripture but an addition made by the King James translators to make the flow of or the reading of easier.   So, without the italics;   “ For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things in body, according to that he hath done, whether good or bad.   My question was how do I define this word “body”.   Is it the physical body or as per Ephesians 4:4a; “...

Who Provides?

JEHOVAH-JIREH In Hebrew “JEHOVA-JIREH is defined as “The L ORD my Provider”.   The word “provider” as used here isn’t a given.   The item being provided must be believed to be authentic and is capable of doing what is promised. Until one believes God [ But without faith  it is  impossible to please  him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and  that  he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6] no spiritual and little physical profit is gained.   First then, what must one believe? That God is and what He says to an individual is important, is truth,   [Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word  is truth. John 17:17]. Next, that He is faithful to do as promised [ God  is  faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.   1 Cor 1:9          There hath no temptation taken you but such as is...
