Who is Jesus Christ?

Colossians 1:15-20 [AKJV]:   " Who is the image of the invisible God , the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether  they be  thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.    And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all  things  he might have the preeminence.    For it pleased  the Father  that in him should all fulness dwell;    and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him,  I say,  whether  they be  things in earth, or things in heaven." 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 [AKJV]:   "And all things  are  of God, who hath reconciled us to himself b...

Do what to be saved?

Acts 16:29-31 Authorized King James Version [AKJV]:   'Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said Sirs, what must I do to be saved?   And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."   The question that has plagued man thought out history; what must one believe to be saved?   Believe the gospel which is what?   " Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1Corinthains 15:1-4.   To believe that t...

RISEN !

1 Corinthians 15:16-17 Authorized King James Version [AKJV]:  "For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.                                                                     Pathway to Salvation [Passages from the Authorized King James Version; AKJV] Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is , and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission .” Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned , and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death ; but the gift of God is eternal life through J...

Blessed Hope !

Titus 2:11-15 Authorized King James Version [AKJV]:   " For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee." What is your hope?   Belief, faith, trust and hope are all synonyms of each other but from different   perspectives.   "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."   Hebrews 11:1.   If ones hope is not in the LORD  Jesus Christ your hope is fleeting and your faith is dead.   'For I am not ashamed of t...

Sin; what sin?

Romans 6:14a [Authorized King James Version]:   "For sin shall not have dominion over you:"   So then if sin "shall not" it has to be a conscious decision to do or not to do.   The more knowledge one has of God's Word the less apt one is to sin, exercise unbelief: " And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:   Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;   Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged." John 16:8-11.   Verse 9 states that the sin, the worlds sin [from verse 8] is unbelief in Him and of His death, burial and resurrection (DBR) for the payment of ones sin.   That is the gospel that is presented for salvation now!   " If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:" Ephesians 3:2.   "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye...

Willingly Ignorant?

Proverbs 3:5-6   [Authorized King James Version]:   "Trust in the L ORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.   In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Sorry to say but if one doesn't believe Him [God], His Christ and the truth of the gospel ["For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also so received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he arose again the third day according to the scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4].   If one does not believe, how can one expect God then to respond to ones needs; "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Jesus Christ."   People will say how can a loving God do this or that. Scripture replies to this ignorance by saying " How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirme...

Where is praying?

Philippians 4:6-7  King James Version (KJV):   " Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Most of the world is in a real twist about this Coronavirus, named as   Covid 19.   All the words of man continue on and on, but have yet to see one leader either here in the United States, Israel or elsewhere to kneel before God of all creation and beg for help.   Our own President and Vice President whom both profess to be believers of Christ, have made no request for open prayer from the nation to intervene in our current crisis.   Why is this?   "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.   In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."   Proverbs 3:5-6. What wou...
